Haven't played them yet, but they are intriguing pickups. Probably a bit too much of a compromise between extremes for most players - after all, most won't even stray as far to the middle as rails, P90s or minibuckers. I'd still like to hear them though.

Of course, the biggest downside to these is that they are a new format and only PRS makes it - so if you decide that you want to change pickups, you're stuck with them. But then again, PRS owners are rarely modders at heart. ?

Probably perfect for the PRS sound then, adding more clarity to the traditional humbucker sound but sacrificing some grunt.. Although I'm always wary when something promises to be EVERYTHING at the same time. P90's and humbuckers, I would accept. But throwing singlecoil AND mini humbucker in there to seal the deal? Seems to be promising a bit much. ?
