Ring Modulator

MNM7

I used it for the first time sunday evening at church in a song and it actually sounded good. Naturally had to tweak it a bit but was impressed. Never really used it before beacuse it usually produces a clunky metal like sound which just sounds horrible, but yeah...

Has anybody else ever used it or does anybody else use it?

I use an electro harmonix frequency analyzer..... alot live.............. Its a cool analogue ring mod, with all the quirks

I've never used ring modulators for guitar - tried it and didn't like it. I've used them for synthesis and I often use amplitude modulation for vocoder and beatslicer effects on the guitar.

I have ring modulation FX with my edit programme - can't make it work for guitar - sounds lousy.

I want one!
Thou that doz not mean much, coz I kinda want a lota stuff...
Iv had the privilege of playing around on a catalinianbread helotrope(pleaz excuse my spelling)
On the demos,I didint like it at all,but in person it was so musical....

MIKA-the-better-one

I really want the heliotrope... parently its one of the more musical ring mod bit crusher pedals out there........

I fing throw some ring mod on fuzz..... and you get a really cool glitchy lo fi solo tone......................

I really do use mine alot........ and people after shows always ask how i made those crazy noises.............

then i just point to the giant pedal on my board, and say I analyzed my frequency" It makes me happy everytime 8)

MIKA the better one wrote I analyzed my frequency"

Wow,you can base a complete action comedy musical move just on that one liner there ?

The FA is a amazing pedal IF used by someone that understands it and stuff....I have heard people do horrible things, the bad kinda horrible, with those things, yet iv also heard that little box pumping out pure awsumness,I also think that its kinda the only "classic ring mod" pedal that I can think of....

I also have a very soft spot for the teaser stallion....thou I have yet to have a encounter with one....and its probably going to be the next pedal I get, thou it might be months befor that hapens....(one word: "strat") ?

MIKA-the-better-one

I too want a teaser stallion....... yet cannot justify its placement on my board ☹

Its an awsome pedal. it goes very very very crazy and weird................. and whats cooler than foolng with your volume knob to get cool noises
