Is It Possible to have Gas for someone else??

Took a friend of mine to buy his first electric guitar and amp.

Went to The Music Company on Beyers Naude (Northcliff), this is a sister shop to the one they have in Mellville.

A major stockist of Vintage, Italia and Fretking on order! In other words very much aligned with Trevor Wilkinson.

They had some good specials Squire Strat with Roland Cube 15x for R2200, this was the first Squire I had ever played, It was a Bullet strat, but I wasn't impressed, even for a beginner.

We ended up buying a Vintage strat copy (Excellent value for money, You could tell the difference between the Squire pickups and the Wilkinson pickups) and a Roland Cube 30x.

First time I have played around on the Roland Cubes, you can dial in some great tones on these amps.

I have a serious case of Gas now, But also enjoyed his own state of Gas!

But have a go, visit this little shop, the staff are friendly and seem to know their stuff

Where's this shop? Beyers Naude Drive is not exactly short.

The shop is located just a bit past Northcliff corner on the left hand sidel travelling north.

Not far from the indulgance cafe..

Do they have a good stock of Italia instuments? I have been looking for an online buy of the left hand Maranello. They only make this one in gold sparkle. The scratch plate is different to the RH. I think its the one used on the Maranello RH bass guitar. I wonder if they have any stock of this.

They have a huge stock of Italia Guitars, all very retro and wouldn't look out of place at any Formula 1 event, racing stripes, shiny etc.
Apparently Trevor Wilkinson is a huge F1 fan.

They are the importers of Italia, Vintage and Blackstar AFAIK

Yes. They moved to a smaller premises but in the same complex. The fish shop is still there - and that's a good thing. They are proper fishmongers and sell good quality produce (yummy Norwegian salmon - pining for the fjords no doubt). The drycleaners/tailors still there too. All good.

I passed it yesterday evening. I was on the way home from purchasing a new deep freeze. They were closed already (17:30), but I popped into the grog shop across the road to buy some Goblin's Bitter.

Gotta love real life.

This conversation is making me nostalgic as this area was where I grew up.
But haven't been there in over a decade.
Seems unfair that you guys just drive past it ...
