Well, have you owned a Gibson?
I ask this because I do own a Gibson and it's the best guitar I've ever played and owned. I won't trade it for any other guitar out there. The sound, the feel, the way it makes me feel when I play it, just awesome. I don't get that feeling when I play my Tokai. I also get that feeling when I play my Fender, awesome guitar. That is what works for me. I played the Caparellis at Andy's and they are very nice, but not for me. I played the Tokais on many occasions, again, not for me. I've played a few Gibsons and I like them.
@ Vic - Those are also nice and at 15K, not a bad price at all.
@ MoJo - That's awesome, but 17K is a fair bit more than 9.5K. (I can pay Take 2 with a credit card ?)
Like I mentioned in my OP, this will just be a guitar to play around with and won't be my main guitar, It'll have to be very good to beat the Tele.
