Yesterday I got in contact with someone who was interested in buying my RG7321 Ibanez, so, he came around last night and took it off my hands..... ☹
Then, in a swift series of events, I spoke to Ronnie from all bang n strum it and he had a fender squier strat which was marked down quite heavily.
According to him its an 80's Japenese strat (although I cant find a serial number to confirm or deny this) It really plays with very much awsomeness... and the sound is killer.
It has been upgraded with Schaller bridge and machine heads, the pickups are Evans (not sure of model etc).
It really is a beaut and it cost me R2200, which considering the mods etc is well worth it and if it is an 80's JapStrat, then its definately worth it.
Maybe someone could shed some light on the origin etc cause I am really not sure. They say the 80's japanese strats used to rival the american strats in the day...
Anyway, enough chit chat. Here it is...
