Checked this Forum on facebook, had to join...

Ne how... I created a group on facebook long time ago for all the metal heads in SA who play guitar, so feel free to join it and invite your mates and post some stuff on it.

Welcome Dylan, I'm not into metal at all but there seems to be quite a few of you dark creatures in here, I'm sure some will join your group!

Hi Dylan, welcome to the forum.

Fritz is right, lots of metalheads around these parts. Must be something in the water...

Is it just me or is there a correlation between the number of metal guitarists on here and the number of guitarists from the East rand ???

No I think it's Yskor is contaminating your water table - Maybe you guys should collaborate and produce an album of East rand Metal or would you call that an Ysterplaat ? ?

So you think it's heavy metal poisoning?

Hey, I lived in Vanderbijlpark for three years and now like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest (British Steel, of course) and other classic metal bands! There really is a correlation.

Ah guys... East Rand is where it's all happening. Big names have come from Benoni and surrounding areas for things other than music, wouldn't surprise me if the worlds next guitar legend lives a couple blocks away from me or something... (Mayb it's even me... pffft, i wish)

By the way, this forum needs some ladies...

An i think the guys who run the forum should create a group on facebook as well, think it'll work out pretty sweet. unless there is one already????

They're here - more than you would think. Be nice and you may get to meet some of them.
