First pickup change

So I know a lot of you will be shaking your heads and saying, "so what?" But after being quoted R800 to change the pickups in my guitar I decided to give it a go myself having never soldered before. And I didnt break anything. And the guitar still works perfectly!

Wasn't bad at all - will do a couple of other of my guitars when I get back from Denmark ?

I've never been good with pickup terminology, but I really like the Retrotron sound - warm and crunchy if that makes any sense?

I'd say chimier than a regular humbucker.
