Fiddling around want to start recording (very basic!). I worked in Cubasis (baby Cubase) for years - and now i have total different computer, Cubase, some other soundcard etc - so I'm starting over. But this isn't the problem. The problem is the light on the pickup of my guitar doesn't even want to go on! - new batteries in pickup. What can I be doing wrong? And the lead is fine. Surely when you plug it into the PC in the mike jack, the light must go on? (or something) - before I even get to Cubase! My computer's more for art so my soundcard is probly pretty basic Realtek(got this computer about 4 months ago)
Before I used to mike my guitar (nylon string) so I don't know what's supposed to happen with a guitar with a pickup ...
Any suggestions anybody?
