This is an outrage I tell you - I cut up all my old cables this weekend expecting to have won at least half a dozen Snap Jacks Cables. Now I cant even buy one in Cape Town - a complete outrage I tell you :'(

Norman86

So...

I picked up the cable today...
but turns out there is a slight niggle...
So before i give my comments on the cable, im waiting for the new one to be delivered tomorrow!

Big props to Matthew from TID, he is really on the ball!
if i was looking for a product, i would buy something distributed by TID, as they really are service oriented!

Oh yeah, and i saw some Carparelli's hanging on the wall in their offices...
DAMN! they are good looking guitars!

Norman86

Thank you Matthew for getting the cable replaced ?

big ups to you and TI Distribution ?

Jack-Flash-Jr

What was the niggle? Just so's we know, you know?

Norman86

turns out some snap jack cables dont have the magnets in the body of the cable!
however, its a rare thing! plus, if you do happen to end up with a snapjack like that, just take it back to be replaced!

ok good news - Snap Jack's are now available in Cape Town...!!

ThunderCloud Music in Sun Valley mall in Fish Hoek stocks them..

Just picked one up this morning and its a quality piece of equipment..

was mucking about before I went out, making a mental note to fix the damn earthing hum on the strat some time... but now just got home and plugged in the Snap Jack and no more earthing hum! so it was my shitty cable..

so in terms of a mini-endorsement here = great piece of cable.... !!

StephenG

just a monday morning bump for cape town guys who may not have seen the post on the weekend.

Snap Jack cables are now available in Cape Town from Thundercloud Music.

they well worth the $$$.... !! only got mine on saturday and its already paid for itself... yesterday reached to hang the guitar up on the wall hanger, not realising i was standing on the cable... the magnets did thier job !!
