All tube or hybrid tube amps? not a vs thread

Hey folks

I was wondering. I'm looking to get a new amp but I'm looking for an all tube or hybrid amp. Any size doesn't matter. My aim is either a vox ac15cc or ac15vr. But what other amps out there are nice tube amps in the 15w or even 30w range. I know about vox and peavey. I will be playing a GT-8 through it for now but would like one with at least 2 channels (clean and drive).

Names and links if possible. Also personal opinion will help as well. I just need names mainly and say what their price ranges are and where in PTA or JHB I can get it.

You will find a huge price difference tween the hybrids an all tube amps.

In the 15 watt range have a look at the Orange Tiny Terror/ dual terror heads which have clean/dirty channels. nice kit

Also have a look at the Laney LC and VC 15's.

Good value and dual channel as well.

In the pricier range there is the Fender Blues Junior.

Fender Super Champ XD is a tube 15. Got that Fender Sparkle and breaks up very nicely. Also got a second channel with modelling.

Is it digital? I have looked at the super champ before but no one could tell me if the modeling was digital. I'm want to start moving away from digital. ? call me old school

There's a lot of discussion around them! The clean channel is not digital but obviously the effects are. That said, when you put a pedal in front of a tube amp you got the signal going through a solid state circuit. By the time your amp has gone through the PA the signal has been around the block. I don't like most of the modelling but a couple sound really good. But you're going to be using a GT-8 sooooo.... I would check it out in a store. Compare with other amps. I am super happy with the clean channel as are most of the folks on the forums. My only wish is that it had a 12" speaker ?

There all tube little monsters,can hang with any drummer and sound amazing whilst doing it,they come in one and two channel versions...

Marshall Cape has them which means you can ask for one to be sent to Woodmead to check out. The plus of the Fender is that it's got that sparkling reverb...
