Just stumbled across this MP3

XIT - Reservation of Education. I remember in the 70's , this American Red Indian band had quite a cult following (well at least at West Ridge High )

I was into progressive rock at the time, so didn't appeal to me at all.

Just thought I would jolt some memories....... ???

You did jog some memories, but mostly because I went to West Ridge High in '80, '83 and '84 ('81-'82 I was in boarding school at Athlone Boy's). XIT - I vaguely remember the name, but not the music.

HELL!! Now I was thinking about this just not even 5 days ago. and I was looking for the cd somewhere and I couldnot find it and it almost like anthem stuff when I was in school man. I had the elpee. And now seeing a post come up here about exactly what I was looking for such a short time ago tells me there has been some divine intervention definitely must be hey. I swear the hairs in my neck are all upright. Point me plse so that I may stumble toward the mp3 that you stumbled across.

Well, CostaFonix gave me this CD and it is so good. Yip , protest music, but not a fashionable protest for the times so it got ignored pretty much I guess. Still isnt.

I had that on cassette once upon a time! Protest music from an American Indian bad with a tribal beat. It was one of my favourite cassettes and I am not sure what happened to it. I would certainly buy it if I came upon the CD. Brought back some great memories.

"It's the reservation of education...." Now you've got me started.

I haven't heard that in years. ?....It was a pretty radical song in it's day....probably still is.... :-\

Edit.....BTW by Indian we are not referring to Chatsworth.... ?
