MNM7 Howdy. I got blessed with this on Thursday night. Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet: Very nice guitar. Absolutely plays like a dream. Sounds brilliant.
aubs1 Cool MNM7........ and congrats on the new babe.......... looks stunning.......what amp are you playing her through?
MNM7 HI folks The neck is quite nice. It's as wide as a LP I would say. A bit wider than say a strat or a tele. It plays very nice. Feels good. Definitely a bit wider and easier to play than my Behringer Strat copy. ? @Aubs1: Well At home I use my unknown 50W Driver amp. But at church where I play the most I got my GT8 plugged directly into a DI box. Got a nice stack amp model I use with a tubescramer model for a OD. Clean I have the JC-120 or Twin Reverb Clean Model. It sounds beautiful with my current settings. But I am gonna play around with the other amp models. I will add this that I am looking at getting a amp. Check my sig for my wishlist.
MNM7 @TomCat: I go to AFM Doxa Deo, Raslouw Campus, here in centurion. Well more closer to Rooihuiskraal, but general area is centurion.
Squonk I was watching 'David Gilmour' live at the Royal Albert hall and he was playing a similar Gretsch and it had a fantastic tone. Beautiful guitar, especially in black. monumentally envious :'(
