Classic! I went into a spares shop in Brackenfell and one of the staff members was a huge goat. The staff and the goat come over to see if they can help you. Then he comes with outside to the scrap yard - standing politely to one side while you choose your bit of scrap and then he accompanies you to the till!!

That high risk area must cause terrible conflict in the hearts of some ...

No, never stayed there. Often used to end up riding through it while hitching up and down the N1 during my National Service. The only thing I really remember about it was it was a "city of roundabouts".

I think it was in Witpoortjie that there was small building on the side of the road that was divided into two differnt establishments. The one was 'SURGERY'. Right next door was 'FUNERAL PARLOUR'. A bit worrying...
