3pdt switches being ordered.

Chris-MAlherbe

Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum yesterday, and ust say that I am very impressed with the guitar community here on guitarforum.co.za. Everyone seems helpful and very nice.

I m building pedals, and couldn't find 3pdt`s anywhere.

I am importing a box or two, so if you want some @R40 (normally6$-10$ in the us) a piece you can give me a call so I can order them. I am just seeing if there is interest.

Any chance of telling the people not in the know what these are?

One switch that switches from one side to another when pressed and back when pressed again would make an SPDT footswitch. One switch with two separate channels like that is called DPDT and one switch with three channels is a 3PDT. For manual operation, you have those that 'flick' and they also come in SPDT, DPDT and 3PDT but also in another couple of variants.
You need SPDT for a Crybaby, 2PDT for most other pedals and 3PDT only if you want LED indication without using 'milennium switch' circuitry.

Hi,

I would like to order the switches in this week, They will take 7 days to arrive in SA. I will be ordering about 60 of them for myself, and I will add how many ever you want for R40 a piece.

So, if you are interested tell me how many you would like to purchase?

Kind Regards,
Chris,
