Norman86 wrotebut seriously... those thinking i have too much money or whatever...
its not that, i just manage my money well to be able to afford what i can! or i beg or borrow where necessary!
other than that, when i have made my mind up about something, i go for it!
if it involves money, i will make a plan! im just that determined!

Yea dude I found that comment VERY douchey or maybe just jealous. If you have the money and want to start playing on a Gibson Custom shop with an AC30, that's your prerogative. Don't let people make you feel bad for how you use YOUR money.

I personally joke about it if I say you got way too much money... im also a spendthrift when I really want something.

Mike... dont take stuff so seriously...

well, im gonna hold out on the case for now... gonna see whats available!
now if andy and music connection were closer, i would consider purchasing from them!
but yeah, i will keep my options open for now! thanks though!

What?

@Norman: Marshall aint too far from you, try and find out if they got any gator cases? Or that Musiek Land in the East rand mall maybe?

MikeM

Yeh Infernox I'm not carrying this on here. Joking with your friends is all well and right, but get the context right. As Michael Scott once said, "We were joking! That's what friends do. You would know that if you had any. 'You're poor' - 'Yea well your mom is dead'".

infernox

Im still not getting this... but hey, cool.

Norman86

alright guys... calm down... infernox made a joke, done, dusted. lets leave it at that shall we?!

Tokai SA wrote There seem to be two different Stagg Les Paul cases.
One is way to big, not sure of the model number, but they also make one that is a 100% perfect fit...it a great case for the money...you can get them for about R 650 at music stores.

Thats good to know. The one I had was a little too deep and I didn't like it much. Lately I prefer guitars that come with their own case.

funny that you guys haven't mentioned anything about me wanting to make my own hard case...

anybody tried this? not worth the effort? cheaper to buy one ready made?

just curious!

infernox

I thinks its cheaper and easier to buy a case than to make it.

I also actually thought about it at a stage.. Masonite could work well, with a material covering of some sort.. Might be a little cheaper, but I think it will be a lot of effort, and you probably won't end up with something as pleasing as a well made case..

A case should be simple enough to make I guess, but a fair amount of actual work. To be honest, for the effort involved, they're cheap enough to just buy, especially once you've forked over a few grand for a decent guitar.

I would personally spend my time playing, and practicing my guitar-playing than worry about saving a few bucks, and building/ making cases and stuff!! ? ?
