Vintage-Vibe

One of the best blues vocalists ever (My fave) - get the Montreaux Festival with Santana etc - I get chills listening to the dynamic range the guy has vocally & playing wise - plus a sense of humour 2nd to none!

Sadly I find his guitar tone to have the worst elements of a Strat - very bright & thin - but he sure can play the thing!

This might get me in trouble I know, but I reckon he is more expressive blues singer (when he remembers the words!) than blues guitar player.

His playing is too outrageous, too much of the time for my liking. And I far prefer him when he plays acoustic and sings.
