I'm sure some of you guys already own one of these, but just thought I'd sing some praises: Dude from Prosound came around to the band room last night to demo some vocal harmony effects units for our lead singer (some AMAZING stuff you can get too), and he happened to bring along a little TC Electronics PolyTune. Check it out here: http://www.tcelectronic.com/polytune.asp Coolest thing about this chromatic tuner is that you can simply do an open strum across all strings, and then tune them all at once! No individual string tuning, though you can do that too. Very well priced at around R1300 too. Definitely going to pick one of these babies up! Props to the dude from Prosound too, he was really helpful and took time out of his evening to come and chat to us.

Using mine at every practice still, and must say things are 100%. Previous dodgy results seemed to be a crap patch cable.

Polytune has been nice and accurate, and the chromatic tuner has always worked perfectly.

So yes, would definitely recommend it.

I'm not saying the polytuning feature is out all the time , its just that I now reckon the intensity of the test strum definitely has something to do with this , imo.....something i'll have 'fine tune' :-[
