I'm pretty interested. I've been looking into this tuner pedal malarkey - especially considering that my main stage guitar is going to have a Bigsby and may require more regular tuning than normal. Being able to whack the strings and tune only the out of tune culprits sounds like a really important advantage.

Well tuners are not all equal. I recently bought a TU-3. I found it to be much more responsive than the types that clip on a headstock. Those, in my experience, are not good if you want to tune in a hurry. They seem to need to reset before responding again.

I also found it to be more reasonable, and there's a very clever interface with the display jumping into a different mode when the string is tuned exactly. This makes it very intuitive to use.

Yeah i noticed that. But does the Polyphonic tuning work with a plugged in acoustic?
I am quite sure I read somewhere that the fellow testing it was struggling to get an accurate reading when trying to tune his acoustic guitar... I may be wrong, but it put me off instantly...
Otherwise I would have had one already... But then again... I'm addicted to 'sweetened' tunings on the Peterson... So might just get a Strobostomp instead.

I have the Polytune App for iPhone and it tunes an acoustic no problem.

I used it this w/e, and it was great!

Don't believe all the hype about "totally visible in direct sunlight" stuff though. I couldn't see it properly unless it was in the shaded part of the stage, and I was looking directly over it (which is fair enough I guess). I also had my sunglasses on. 8)

Hell yes! ?

A quick stomp shows exactly which string is being the little bastard, and can be sorted out in seconds. Even had to do this mid-song once or twice when my B-string decided to become all recalcitrant and stuff.
