I want a strat again

Im looking for a strat again, struggeling to find a good second hand one. Preferably an american, good second hand mexican or japstrat.

I want it either in aged or olympic white, but cant find one.

Any good alternatives to Fender? *steps on toes* what about tokai?

I picked up a second hand MIM strat for R3000. Awesome guitar, perfect condition, with a hard case. Not sure you'll get cheaper than that for a Fender, you could probably get a cheaper squire?

That is a copper pickguard (pickgaurd?) and is a bit hectic. A bud bought that guit and put a white.black.white scratchplate (i can spell that) onto it. So hot with the maple fretboard. Just so nobody orders that pornstar expecting a grain in the copper. Hehe

Tokai does great Strats (they make the Jap models for the big F). Once again great value for money. Not at the low end of the scale price-wise - more like Jap quality for Mexican prices.

Cool alan, im not expecting to pay nothing. But i dont necessarily pay fender american standard prices either

I must agree though that a Strat is an awesome thing. I'm going to give mine a solid jam this evening.
