Ok,so i mustered tp the courage to finally refinish my cort x-2...but i stumbled when it came to the two bolts in the body that hold the flod rose...they are grooved and need to come straight out, but how can i do this?and safely? thanks guys
You can leave the anchors in for refinishing - just mask off the holes or put bolts in while you spray. With another two bolts screwed into the neck holes you can use them to stand the body on while the paint cures.

Otherwise if you really want to remove them, screw the posts in and use a wood block and claw hammer to pull out post and anchor.
Thanks Alan, yeah, been looking at it and i might as well leave them in and take precautions when i spray.
After checking around,it seems these are actually called studs,is that correct?
      thanks
