HELP Needed from fellow musicians.

hey guys, my band (DownOnTheFirst) have entered this online viral marketing competition where we have an awsome team of creative, basically we had to find a Designer, Videographer and Photographer. the competition runs in stages and the bands need 500 votes each to get through to the finals, we just posted our rough video on last night so the ppl can start voting, we need all the votes we can get, we made a promise to take some of the cash thats made from the competition and thro a cool partyy for the fans with loads of alcohol and live performancs if we win.

so guys please help us out and give us your vote and a cool star rating on the track thats uploaded there, we would really appreciate the support.

here's the link to the page, the band is called DownOnTheFirst, feel free to leave comments and take a look at the vid and track.

This is why I never bothered entering this competition. I see so many bands having to beg for votes, It becomes less about who is the best, but who has the most friends to call on.
IMO it would probably be easier to ask 500 friends for R100.

The positive side of this competition is that if you fail to win, take the same steps you would have taken (canvassing for support aside) with a few changes and you should be able to get enough attention. Then find a place to sell your singles, and you can make a fair bit of Bob...

I will go, I have registered but I will only vote if you are Good ?
(ok i listened, definitely worth the vote.)
