Managed to steal my dad's camera for a day or two, so took some snaps of the goodies:
Fender Highway 1 Strat
Courtesy of Brentcgp ? Absolutely loving this guitar, feels very special every time I lift it out of its case. You can see some of the wear 'n' tear on the body already, so looking forward to the years it's going to take to get it looking properly used.
Wonderful neck though, and great tone through the stock PuPs.
Takamine EG523SC
I love this guitar to bits. Wonderful tone whether playing chunky chords of plucked bits.
Beautiful looking thing as well, with great detail. Quite a narrow neck, the built-in tuner is my best buddy.
Epiphone Les Paul
Pretty much the standard Les Paul, I think. It's not a custom as it only has the single binding on the body and no fancy logo on the head-stock.
The Seymour Duncans on this guitar are great! I have no idea what they are, as the were fitted when I bought it, but they have wonderful fat tones with great clarity. Great sustain on this guitar too.
Heavy bastard though, after a night's worth of practice I need some phsyio ?
Tanglewood JZ-503
Very nice, inexpensive semi-hollow. Lovely warm, fat tones and I've always thought it's quite a head-turner too.
This one is for sale by the way, in the classifieds, will update that ad. I've attached a pic of the small cracks near the jack, it's not serious but I like to be up-front.
Aria Pro II - Magna Series
My very first guitar ever! ?
I don't know much about it at all. If anyone has any details, please chip in. The neck is still straight, but I haven't plugged it in for years, I'm assuming the electrics are pretty rubbish...
I was thinking of maybe doing something with this guitar as a little project, to learn a bit more about electric guitars in general. Some new wiring, some fresh pups...
Also, that body used to be white, but is quite yellowed, so would be interested to strip that poly off and see what lies beneath. Will maybe make a post about this in the mods forum...
