Ok, so my wife brings me a present...............NOOOO!!!!.........not another guitar...........or amp..........or pedal........ Just a BluRay DVD............"U2 360deg"-live at the Rose Bowl...........awesome........ :yup: And for the first time ever, I'm thinking......(having read another thread here: "Best documented solos........"etc etc etc...) Some of the world's BEST, longest lasting, most awesome live bands, (at least in my opinion) ......DON'T PLAY SOLOS........ so here are just two I can think of, off-hand........: U2, and Sting and The Police,......... can you name a few more?

Seventhson wrote I love solos. There is nothing better to have a build up to a really awesome solo.

Must be bec I am a thrash metal dude :? ?

A GOOD thrash metal solo should have a 1. beginning and 2. an end with the two as close together as possible..! ?
