+1. Wouldn't surprise me if the ESP was made by Cort. ? That's just the way the business is. Cort aren't paying someone else to make their own branded guitars, which is why they are usually very good value for money.
But at the end of the day, you must listen to both (and ideally play them) and decide which you prefer.
