Yeah I like to just mix it up near the end, you know drop it likes it hot. The tab I had was pretty messed up too, I just redid this by ear. Here is the solo part.

I too had a period where I just learnt a bunch of Necrophagist songs a while back (think a year or two), but have never gotten 'round to recording 'em.
Imo the solo are easier than the Rhythms lol

not the whole solo yet i'm a bit slow i've only been playing for 2years and 6months now i just recently learn how to sweep and i really enjoy it, i'll put up the whole thing when i finished it i only learn a little each day, but i've been learning this one now cause i want to improve on my shredding a bit more. what do u think?

Sound's cool. But like Dean said the Rhythm parts of n Necrophagist is some times even more technical than the solo's. But the Solo's still sound brain melting to me. The best practice for shredding is not always to just skipping to the solo of n song. My favorite way op training my shred technique is by playing on my classical guitar. Really every time I have gone into one of my classical/spanish guitarist phases and have come back to Metal. It was way easier to shred.

name some riffs or song with a really hard riff from necrophagist them i've been looking through some of them i want to try learn. i learnt some of the riffs in extreme unction but that song has easy riffs. for my first two years i just played rhythm only this year i start playing lead. i used to hear yngwie malmsteen i thought impossible to play lead stuff but i still dont know what i'm doing most of the time. i just do whatever i find fun to do most of the time.
