Those vanamps units sound very nice. Again though, you don't have the option of extreme 'verb. Very nice for normal tones though.

They look like expensive units though.

All I can say is what a pedal... I have had enough time now to hear if it worth it's weight in gold... I'm not the biggest reverb fan, so the boss 63 it's just to 1 dimensional for me... Yes it is the best out there for an authentic spring reverb.... That's not what I was after.

I had a look at the Vanamps, the Plush, Trex, etc etc none grabbed me as much as the Neunaber. It adds that extra warmth to my sound when needed, can get more sounds out of it and it's two knobs than most pedals with twice the amount of controls... It just works so well for me. The extreme settings are even usable, which has to be the first pedal ever that I find that being the case... And I have the only one in SA I am quite sure.... Which makes It that much more unique and special ?

it is a superbly built and constructed unit, dead quite, wonderful verb...

I wouldn't trade this reverb for the world... It is a truly brilliant!

Hey Brent, if you don't mind me asking, where did you order it, how much was it, and how long did the shipping take? I'm thinking about getting a Mesa Transatlantic TA-15, which has no reverb. Like you I'm not a huge reverb fan, but I do like a little just to warm up an otherwise dry signal.

Yeah i'm also keen on a high quality reverb. This looks like the ticket. Cheapest price I've been able to find is R1750..

I bought it straight from the fellow himself, Brian Neunaber, from the website using Paypal arrived 4 days later.. Very nice bloke had a quick chat to him

I really cant get over how good this reverb actually is... I am loving it still
Its lush, its simple, zero noise, simple, not so much an effect, but definitly does add that little something special when i want a fuller sound
I highly highly recommend this reverb!

Yeah thats about right, its $200 and you can buy it straight from Neunaber, so with shipping and then VAT it comes to around there...

Hi Brent,

I've got to apologise: you've no longer got a unique-in-SA reverb pedal, mine arrived yesterday. I’ve also got to thank you for the heads-up on this piece of kit, it’s totally fabulous! I recently picked up a Mesa TA-15 (also an astonishing piece of equipment) and was in need of a little splash of reverb... you found this pedal at exactly the same time as I was researching options for a solution to the verb-less TA-15. I checked out the online demos and immediately placed my order. 6 days from order being placed to delivery.

I had a chance to try it at band practice last night and it’s perfect. I’m running it at moderate levels so it’s very subtle, but it sounds fantastic, nice and organic. I did mess around with the pedal set at ludicrously high levels as per one of the online demos and it’s lots of fun, especially for violining.

I am starting to use more and more verb!!! :-[ It is that good. The extreme settings are fun... Still imo the best verb I have tried!

Brian Neunaber mentioned to me that he was unaware of the origins of the term 'WET' with regards to spring reverb. The name of this pedal is from a broader meaning of the word wet ? and this reverb is in no way meant to emulate a spring reverb ?
