What cable to buy?
Charlie4
I know this has been covered numerous times but I'm looking to hear what you guys would recommend. I'm willing to spend about R300 per cable (+- 18ft) and believe this would be sufficient?
I've read only good things about Mogami and I know it's excellent as a studio cable but is it sturdy enough to withstand gigging, since the shielding looks pretty thin?
A sales rep recommended Dimarzio cable. It looks tough but I don't know how it compares to other cables (worth buying).
Any other cables you would recommend and their pricing?

Morgami cable with Neutric connectors! Done deal!

You could try the Proel Die Hard cable. I have one and its really tough, i've abused it a ridiculous amount and its still perfect. The connectors are moulded on though but thats why it seems to take such a beating.

+1. Thinner cable is more flexible. Neutrik never die.

Mogami Cable - +1 more
Neutrik - maybe. Try Amphenol connectors, easily as good and half the price. Did my pedalboard with them and was impressed. Neutriks are superb too, just WAY over-priced here.
Alternatively, if you don't want to make your own cable, try the Planet Waves cables with the gold tips, but no breaker. I have 3 - all good and no issues in almost 5 years of extensive use.
