Nothing wrong with your guitars - your Bullet is better than my first guitar (an Angelica), which only lasted a few months while I worked my first after-school job (cashier at a Spar in Roodepoort) to buy a "real" guitar. Sadly that "real" guitar was a Fender "The Strat" which was a complete dog and only lasted six months. That's the great thing these days - cheap guitars like Squiers, inexpensive Ibanez' and Corts are mostly quite good and the "better" models are even better because of it.
The old Fender Bullets were nasty - no trem and the tailpiece was actually just a bent bit of metal. I got thrown out of the army band partly for refusing to play theirs.

Yeah, corts also aren't bad, my brother has a cort bass, but cort doesn't have it on their site, and the only websites mentioning it aren't in english.
