yes to my right you can see the Bass amp a Trace Elliot GP7 300W (1x15 inch speaker) lovely amp......... just very heavy ..........
but great tone and most importantly great tone shaping ability it has "pre shapes" that you just press in a button to get a great sound then the graphic which can be totally bypassed and then another EQ of bass /treble contours ( almost like a crossover) just before the post volume....
so anyone not finding a good sound with that amp just has not worked with it enough cos i find it truly amazing .........
you saw these trace elliots just about on every major stage back in late 80's /90's ........... used by players like tony levin /mark king ect ect ect
my only con for them so far is that they damn heavy ......... and with new technology where apparantly they use some other method and not use a heavy transformer in amp they can make a 350W amp head in a 3 kg package ......... but hey i bought it at a great price..........
the recording was done with the zoom Q3 video camera which has a stereo mic i hear it distorted on bottom end once or twice but i must admit i left the sound on auto and it does have a low cut filter i shoulda used but left off ......... but a great tool for this kinda thing quick vid ....and aimed at muso's wanting to put stuff easily on you tube ect ......
