Hey hey ?

So you might have noticed a new addition to the forum in the form of "tweet this" buttons in the first post of every topic. Feel free to test it out and let me know if it's not working as it should.

The idea is to share on Twitter any posts you find share-worthy. If you don't use Twitter, no problem, just ignore the buttons. If you do - please help us get the word out some more by promoting cool posts, whether they're your own or by other members.

This is open to abuse or may cause embarrasment for the forum.

Say I want to put around a story that the owner of some shop lost my axe, is evading tax and is more fond of small animals than he should be....

The tweet itself will be listed under your account, not GFSA's, so it's no different than tweeting a post yourself. (Apart from being easier)

I've also moved the social bookmarking icons to where they'll hopefully get more usage. Some of you might even wonder where they came from - but they've been there all along, sitting right at the top of each page.

Excuse my ignorance on this Norio, but once the post has been sent to twitter are recipients there redirected to the Forum or is it published on twitter?

Yep, it links back to the forum.

That's cool, didn't know that - can now expose more of my muso mates to the forum. I trust the same can be done with FB.

Yep, same can be done with FB. That's exactly what I'm hoping for - more of our friends joining us on GFSA. So feel free to go bos ?
