Hi guys
ok i know why it stopped working. my cousin connected the cable from my earphone jack of my radio into the input of my ds1 and the output to my amp. So yea the distortion stopped working. Anyone know what components could be faulty? I just opened it up and i don't see anything wrong. The caps aren't blown. I don't have the money to go and take it in now. It works fine playing clean just not with distortion as well as all the knobs dont work.

You've almost certainly blown the circuitry with too much input level. It's a job for a pro.

I think DS-1 distortions goe for like R450 if you need to get a new one, their not that expensive ...

yea im leaving this one. Going to go for the line 6 Mega distortion or line6 metal. Something like that.
