I stumbled upon a web site that deals with guitars and ergonomics. More of that later, but something that caught my eye fairly quickly was an article about bass guitars with twisted necks.
Really.
Here's a video about the guitar which first demonstrated this idea.
Note the chamfered body under the bridge. This seems to me to be similar in effect to the wedge shaped acoustic guitars pioneered by Linda Manzer.

Wow, at first I couldn't tell what was so different.. But wow, when he turns it side ways, that's crazy! Kinda cool! ?

? great thing i seen the review...awesome design ..... imagine not knowing this twist bass exists and finding one in gumtree and arriving to check it out and seeing that twisted neck ....... heheheh most people would think it was damage not evolution .........
awesome cos carpal tunnel or any repetitive hand injuries are no joke and can end a career ........... i gave up playing double bass/upright bass because of it and took up guitar , so yeah great to see this
