Newby in Jozi

Hi everybody,

I just settled in Jozi/Sandton and be here for a year or so.. I don't know anything bout the music scene, shops etc here so any help from you would bi highly appreciated. I'll browse through the forum for sure but wanted to say hi first.

Well there are a few shops closish to you:
Music Connection on Jan Smuts
Marshall Music in Woodmead (<- bought my stuff from them)
Africa Music in Rosebank (they suck)
Music Mate in Sandton City (expensive)
Tom's in Sandton/Braamfontein

thats all I actually know. Places to listen to music would be Tanz Cafe Bryanston (I think) and Blues Room in Sandton/Village walk.

I stand corrected on all the above.
