I kept an eye on the last day, but it was hardly riveting viewing. Oosthuizen's lead was such that all he had to do was to play steady golf.
Which, of course, says that he played very, very well indeed and hats off to him.
Domination usually doesn't make for a good spectacle though.
His life has just changed. Winning a major is going to make a big material difference to his life. 2nd prize was 500 000 pounds, so Oosthuizen got a big pay day.
