What sort of fingerboard does your Squier have? If it's maple then you need to be careful about what you apply to it. Maple is softer and more absorbent than, say, rosewood, and the wrong lotion could cause problems there.
Seek information first, and be don't too hung up on lemon oil - other products may be better.

Naphta or lighter fluid is commonly recommended - we had a discussion about that some time ago, and the question arose whether Zippo lighter fluid is the same as naphta and jet fuel which also seems to go by the name naphta. Don't think we ever came to a definite conclusion on that one, except I was advised against using jet fuel in my Zippo... ?
I got some Clayton Pro Lemon cleaner, I included it in an online order for other stuff though I can't remember where. It works well - it cleans and it is a rather nice smelling (lemon, of course) oily substance that penetrates well into wood. I cleaned my very old Regal resophic's fretboard with that, and the wood visibly soaked it up. Nice stuff.

Any music store should have it. It's basically naphtha scented with a drop of lemon oil. As a straight up cleaner, naphtha works best and can be used on any finish.

In a pinch, good old Pledge in the spraycan have a variant with lemon oil. Just make sure to wipe it down properly to avoid gunky residue sticking in the corners where the frets meet the board. Should be available at any supermarket for less than 20 bucks.

Ja well Boet, here in the Kalahari we make do with what we've got. :-[ Read aout it in the Q&A section of Guitarist Magazine a couple of months back. Not the best option, but workable.
