Popped intro Marshall Woodmead this afternoon to pick something up and the following are there, Gibson Les Paul Guitars <Traditional> , Epiphone Les Paul guitars and a wall full of Tokia Les Paul guitars. Apparently their are more Gibsons and Epiphones on the way.

I also saw Gibson SG's on the wall (3 of them and one was sold while I was there) as well as Epiphone SG;s, ES 335's and Explorers. Tokia ES335's as well.

Great opportunity to AB all the variants in one place. This is also for the benefit of someone here who was asking about Epiphone a few days ago.

Just to clarify I am not affiliated to Marshall in any way.

Dude. You have just made my day. I was the one asking about the Epi LP's. I wanted to check out Marshall Music and Music Connection on Saturday, but never got around to it.

    Thanx ? ? :woohoo: :applause:
I was in Marshall in Cape Town on Saturday. They have Epiphone LPs, SGs, and Dots as before - no Gibsons that I saw there, and no Tokais (Cape Town's unfortunately short on Tokais). I was a bit confused by the prices. Some LPs seemed to be R5K (very reasonable for a retail Epiphone), while some that looked identical to me seemed to be R7K (which is a more expected price for a retail Epi). The SGs were R4K. I didn't check the prices of the Dots.

My feeling, having a look at them, was that the Dots in this batch looked better made than the LPs. I didn't look too closely at the SGs, so I can't say about them.
