Or you could use http://www.box.net/ I think it is easier to use than rapidshare, rapidshare makes you wait a while before you can actually download the file, and Box.net has a built in media player.

The drums sound a bit lifeless though. Maybe a tiny bit of reverb to make it sound more "real".

Some very tasteful slow and fast stuff. Very cool!

Very nice! Slow and soulful! Yea the drums didn't really sound all that good to me, but on the other hand maybe they are not supposed to on a track like this?

Thank you. Ya I didn't really focus on the drums. They were put there to provide a beat in this song LOL. ?

I love rapidshare and have a premium account. 27 GB this month already :-[ (no, not porn ?)

Rain is great! Great playing - a few faltering notes here and there, but it would be easy to fly in replacements to fix. The guitars are a bit unnatural sounding, did you use piezo pickups? The steel backing guitar could come down a few dB when it plays rhythm (fine for the other parts).

Drums do need a bit more reverb in the beginning where the arrangement is sparse, but they fit fine later on. Shaker is a bit loud - should be about the same level as your hats or even slightly less.

Otherwise wonderful playing, some great tones, nice arrangement and good recording.

Piezos are the built-in pickups used in acoustic-electric guitars. They have a bit of a "zing" to them compared to the real thing. While the sound quality of your guitars is very nice (better than I usually expect from plugging straight in without a mic), sometimes I hear a bit of that zing - especially on the slides. So I wondered if you had miced up or were using the built-in pickup, or even a combination of the two.

That recording was done in 2005. We plugged the acoustic electrics straight into a mixing desk that had a line out straight into my soundcard. It was the best I could do back then hahaha. So no, we didn't use mics at all.

How does this Karma thing work? I suddenly have a Karma of 1 and it was before...

I got a firewire recording device now from which I get much better sound quality. I need advice on recording my new flamenco material though because I do Rhumbas where I use the body of the guitar fort percussion and the pickup hardly picks this up. I don't know...should I mic it up?
