I recently acquired this guitar from a close friend who is a avid collector of various guitars ranging from PRS's to Gibson Les Paul Deluxes to Gretches.
I initially bought it as an investment however I seem to have miss looked the amount of debt I have and I need to pay that off so I can start saving for my
honeymoon which is coming up soon, hence the reason why I need to sell this.
Since putting this topic up I have learned a few things about this guitar, and some of the info I gave in my previous post was incorrect and I would like to apologize
to everyone for this. I was going according to research I did on the net and from the friend I bought it from but it appears that some of the things I thought about this guitar
were incorrect so my apologize for this.
I took most of the info regarding this guitar off this topic as I don't wish to mislead anyone, however I will re-post some new info when get a clearer indication of the guitar,
where and when it was made etc. A fellow GF user came to visit me today to look at the guitar and offered me some new info I did not know about this guitar. If you
can help me with the dating of this guitar or any other useful facts please feel free to PM me. I would like to get my facts straight about this guitar but I need some help
as I'm sure I can learn a lot from most of you guys.
The few things I do know about this guitar is that its definitely made in Japan. The fret nibs are a tell tale sign of this. Also at the bottom of the bridge it has a made in Japan
stamp on it, its stamped into the steel. The Truss Rod Cover is a bell shape with wings. I checked the pickups and cavities and found no serial number. Also the back of the headstock
doesn't have any serial numbers. The wiring by the pots has a grey material over it, looks almost like netting. I don't know if any of this helps but if you can help me with any additional
info please do.
Also if possible, please could you give me a valuation of this guitar as I do not wish to rip anyone off (I have to get this guitar sold).
Thanks guys, its much appreciated. Will post some more pics of the guitar a little later.
