Hi guys, a dumber: Can I use my standard Boss Compression pedal on my acoustic? I need more sustain when playing slide and for the odd solo (both on acoustic). I'm plugged into an Ibanez Troubadour 35, which acts as an extra monitor right next to me. I tweak my sound on the amp before it goes (via direct out) to the desk.

Yes, you can use it. Tweak to taste, but you might want to start with sustain at 12:00 or lower for a more natural compression and take it from there.
