Shouldn't they rather be soldered? I bought some George L's cable and solderless plugs - the ones where you just insert the cable and screw on the top. Tightened them really well. But I find that several of them, including a few of his pre-made ones, now has poor connections which may well be the result of my constant reshuffling and redoing of my pedal board.
Only thing is, how would one get to the tip to solder that?

I've always steered clear of them because of I don't trust solderless connections. So I've never tried to solder one, sorry.

Does anyone know of a music shop, other than Andy Mcgibbons who currently don't have jacks in stock, that sells George L's ?
I have a couple of friends who want to buy and I dont feel like waiting for delivery from the US.
