All good advice... Strat's came out tops though. ?arty:
Without having watched the video or anything... I realised there was a question of how to get the other strings not to ring. Strat had some good advice... but you wont always be able to do any of it in a quick tempo'd solo.
And what i took away from the question was that when you bend... the other strings are getting pinched with the string you playing? So... a quick way around that... is to play your bend... and as you are bending, your fingers move a bit so as the other strings hit your callus and therefore cannot sound.
The bend with fingers only is incorrect... you need the use of your wrist. Now al this stuff is also available on a lick library vid called "Playig with feel". He also goes into vibrato on bent notes... Dave Kilminster plays so awesomely on this instructional that I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to add flavour to their playing.

The link is just picked at random... I'm sure you can find it on amazon or wherever... music shops here should have it too... So good luck to ya. ?
PS... killafo's way is how i teach my students as well... quick and easy... watching them squirm when its time to do the overbends... shaking hands, quivering lips... shaking cheeks... priceless
