Hey Greg, have you seen that EHX does almost everything in a "nano" version now? The same pedals but at reasonable size. I have the Fender '63 Spring Reverb pedal and I'm not 100% sure about it. The spring sound is better than anything else I've tried, but it seems to suck some of the warmth and low end out in a way that my Holy Grail never did. Try before you buy.
Pity I've already got 2 EHX pedals! I got them for a good price, so I can't really complain. Ah, I will most certainly try before I buy, I don't really need all that the Holy Grail offers, just a bit of spring and a whole lotta surf spring, which is why I thought that the Fender would be decent, but if there is one thing I REALLY don't want, its to lose any tone. What about running it through the effects loop on my Deville, would that change anything?
