Introduction

My first post so I reckon that an introduction would be appropriate?

Basically, I just love music and as a result am able to play one or two instruments after all these years. I've joined because I'm keen to learn from other here and maybe on the odd occasion share some things that have worked/did not work for me.

I live in Cape Town's northern suburbs and as this is a guitar forum, have a music room that contains amongst others a:
- Daion solid body nylon electric guitar
- Tanglewood ac/elec
- Fender Strat (Mex)
- Fender Tele (USA)
- Fender Jazz Bass (USA)
- Fender Blues Jr amp
- Fender Twin Reverb amp
- Laney Acoustic Amp

My wife says I play guitar quite nicely. I love my wife a lot.

Hey Bloukie, welcome.........yes, it helps to have a wife who thinks one plays quite nicely..........hahahahaha.......

No, I dig Gibsons - I just don't own one at the moment. Had a beautiful SG a few years ago, but let her go 'cause I never got round to playing her. The other guitarist in the band was a Les Paul man you see, so I tended to stick with the Fenders to offer different tonality to the band.

Bloukie here was a demon drummer back in the late 70's , early 80's.... when together , we were amongst the founding members of 'Supertroop' , an Army band based in Kimberley in 1979/1980.
