I did the designing in Rhinoceros 4. I find it the most accurate CAD program that i have worked with.
I am cutting on a Multicam 3 axis router.

That's where you guys are wrong. If you think the hard part is just cutting some outline out of a thick piece of wood, go right ahead...

give us some more info then...I thought it's a case of setting it, plotting everything out and wham bam?

Either way you build a body, cnc or jig rout or drum sand, it is not all that hard. Having built the body you are only getting started: neck join, fretting, fretboard position and geometry, neck profile, bindings, prep and finish each are more difficult. They can certainly be tackled each, but if you do not have the skill to properly do the body then forget about the rest. Buy a good book instead of trying to learn everything off the net and work with some guys with woodworking and/or luthier experience.
