Hey guys... sorry if someone has asked this before...
but i wanna get a small tube amp, i really like fender type bluesy tone...
obviously i want an amp thats not gonna blow the neighbours away ?
any suggestions?
i really like fender champs - but i think a mod is almost essential ?

Plenty of threads here on small tube amps......take a gander through the "amps, speakers and valves", and the "gear" section......more than enough there to confuse anyone.... ? ?
Matta here on the forum is also a champ mod legend and worth getting hold of if you plan on going the champ route....

You are going to get a dozen different opinions here....not a bad thing as it exposes you to options you might not have thought of.... :-\
Two things will determine your decision
1. The kind of sound you want.....You already have some idea of what you want there
2. The big bad Budget word.... ? ....How much you are prepared to spend.
Best advice is to go to and try out what is available and see what lights your fire.
Also take your guitar and effects with you to see how the amp responds to these....
