Power Supplies ( is it enough)

Since buying single effects (yes there was a time i didnt) it has been the number one thing which bothered me about getting right, sadly I dont think i have yet. I reckon its the most imporant part of a pedal board.
I use a Carl MArtin Big John power supply, I understand this unit delivers 600 ma, through 7 outlets, I use 5 to 6 pedals, the most consuming are my carbon copy and Holy Grail Reverb, which I cannot run from the big john because a holy grail needs 500ma alone, and my big john cant do it.....
I have looked a the BBe Supa Charger, and it seems GREAT, and its switchable on voltage, The voodoo labs p2 also looks greta BUT isnt switchable voltage, Both are ISOLTAED Outputs which I liek the idea of, There is also Burkley and Trex Power Supplies, and One Spot (but we wont go there)

So I want to know what all of you use, and why? and if there are better options?

I use a 1spot. Cheap, effective, lotsa extras. I don't have many pedals or high current pedals so my situation is different.

The Carbon Copy is only 26mA. If you want something that can supply 500ma to a single pedal, only a separate, dedicated supply for the Grail will work (Not even the Cioks supplies go that high, topping out at 400mA). A Voodoo Labs PP2+ will handle just about anything else you throw at it (and is switchable voltage ...for each output too). Otherwise, upgrade your Grail to the version 2, which draws only 200mA.

wow carbon copy is lower than i thought...... cool.... Well what i am doing is I have been wanting ghost echo for a while so I ordered one in from USA. it only takes 100 ma...... max...... accoording to the makers.......

I was under the thought that voodoo labs pedal power was not 115 and switchable to 220 for usa to south africa voltage, did i explain this badly :/

Yeah - the Voodoo Labs will be 110V if you buy it from the US. You can get a 220V-110V stepdown transformer here though (or just buy one locally).

I've hardwired 4 Boss power supplies on my board to my Morley wah, CH1, PH2,DD-20,GE7,OC2, TU2 and NS2.

Morley wah gets 1
DD20 gets 1
NS2 gets 1 which also powers the CH1 and PH2
TU2 gets 1 which also powers the GE7 and OC2

I've hooked them all up to a single kettle plug connection on the board so as to keep the cables etc outta the way ?

MIKA, slightly off-topic, but I recently sold my Grail and bought the Boss/Fender '63 Reverb pedal. If you're using the Grail for spring reverb, the Boss beats it mercilessly. 'Course if you're using the grail for the excellent hall 'verb, then I wouldn't recommend the change.

+1 on the '63 Reverb. The best spring reverb emulation available.

funny enough I use it for its hall........ hmmmm...... problem is I DO NOT want to power it via the seperate adapter I own, the original EHX one is yet to be found, so I run it froma 300ma Wall wart, 200 ma less than it needs..... I have heard great things about the 63 reverb boss pedal....... I just dont know if i would use spring that much
But here is a vid Of what i ordered to replace it..... It sounds GREAT I think... and its a little strange to

In a stomp-box ? I actually think the Amplitube Fender reverb tank emulator is better still.
