Freeware MP3 Converters......

Anyone out there know of a decent freeware MP3 converter......

I want to convert some WAV files to MP3. So far all the ones I have tested either give me nothing...i.e. Silence....or dreadful digital noise...... >☹ >☹ >☹

I recommend you get Audacity as well (if you're working with sound clips...)

Audacity has a convert to mp3 function somewhere, but needs the file lame_enc.dll

I use iTunes. It organises my music as well and it is easy to add id3 info in as well. free download but tries to update a lot...

I use iTunes as well but couldn't find the converter......Blond and blind at the same time...... ??? ???
