Was just thinking the same thing. ?
His point though is sound. Since mathematics is clearly based on some inherent qualities (Mayans and Babylonians both uncovering similar properties despite never meeting, having different number systems, etc. is a clue), beings with superior knowledge and intellect (demonstrated by their mastery of interstellar travel) should reasonably be able to supply some unknowns to demonstrate the aforementioned.
They always fail to do so. Aliens are never able to demonstrate something to the abductee that is demonstrably true, and yet unknown to mathematicians or scientists.
