Hi fellow muso's! I'm Gareth. I play mostly blues & rock lead guitar, but dabble a bit in jazz, classical and try my hand at everything. I play a sunburst Gibson Nighthawk electric and a Tanglewood acoustic. I also have a restored Hofner 12-string which I play every now and then. I've playing in South African bands for about 8 years in Joburg and Cape Town areas. The band's I've played in are: 6 degrees, Jo Martin Band, Ages and I've made a guest appearance with Delta Blue once. I've just got back to Joburg from a 9 month stint in California and I'm looking for gigs as a lead guitarist/vocalist in established original bands. I'm also on the verge of finishing a solo EP of 6 songs, just final mixing and mastering left. Thanks for the forum! It's great to have a place to connect with other muso's! See u around! Gareth

Hello Gareth. Some while back I was watching TV on a Sunday night flipping thru you know and then there was this program which was good for awhile called going nowhere slowly but what caught me was the music that was playing some sort of theme or something. so I called up the channel becasue I missed the credits and it was hellish difficult but eventually found out it was Delta Blue's music. So, and hell I cant even remember where I got it, but I got the album Inbluesstation. And in fact just the other day I scratched it out again becasue I think this must have been in the last century hey or at least early this one. And it is such a lekker album to listen to.

Ray - Inbluesstation is a great album! If you ever get the chance, you should try watch Delta Blue live. Really great sound and high energy. Unfortunately the original band don't play together anymore, but the lead singer still collaborates with other muso's to play Delta Blue's songs.
