What a thrashing! Before this game, Korea's worst loss was 6-1. We gave them 7-0! What a beautiful game!
Can't wait for Friday's Portugal vs Brazil game! If we can steal that game from the Samba Kings, it will be a wonderful, wonderful thing!
Super-proud!

Dude, stop playing up racial stereotypes...

That was really amazing but I feel sorry for the North Koreans :'(

Ya you can't help sympathise for them - they looked really depressed. I think they gave up too early, though. That wasn't the same team that held off Brazil so superbly just a few nights ago.

Did anybody see the story about the north-korean supporters? Apparently the last time they were allowed to support a national team overseas a few made very critical comments about their country. So this time, none of that. No visas were issued to attend the world cup. Those oriental looking fellas in red are apparently Chinese citizens on a nice all expenses paid holliday courtesy of the north korean state. So ja, I reckon they will get over it ?

I only saw 10 minutes of the game, and 4 goals... sheesh

mmmmmm
I don't like anything about Portuguese soccer... Cant say I'm impressed...
With all do respect to the Saffa Portuguese...
As soon as they get knocked out I'll come post here again ?
haha ?

Interesting. I didn't see that story, but on the bus to the Brazil/DPRK game last week those supporters in red were definitely speaking Korean. They may have been from South Korea and in benevolent mood...

The only thing they have in common is that they speak the same language, other than that, the Samba Boys will teach "Loop en Val" (Ronaldo), how to really play soccer!!!!!

In addition to the above, i also read that Korea DPR matches will only be broadcast in North Korea, when they win.
Poor N.Korean footie fans.
Seriously though, i can't wait for Argentina to hand Portugal their @$$.

Another Portuguese phenomenon that I can never understand is, EVERY world cup they get knocked out, all the Portuguese supporters all of a sudden become BRAZILIAN!!! Wonder if the same will happen this year... ?
never won a world cup, never will ?
I have one team, when they out, I don't really care who wins...
To keep the peace I wont mention my "ANYBODY BUT ..........." team ?
North Koreans got a whipping none the less....
I like to see that, so maybe next time FIFA wont let the useless teams play in a tournament of this standard while other great South American teams have to watch from home...
IceCreamMan
i reckon the whole team gonna apply for political asylum , they going to be in front of a firing squad if they return, the great leader dont like losers

Brent, we don't "become" Brazilian. That's like saying the Saffas who now support African teams because Bafana is out have "become" Ivorians, Cameroonians or something else. I support, in this order: Bafana, Portugal, Brazil. Because, in this order: SA is my country, Portugal is my inherited country and the Brazilians play an amazing, fun, entertaining game and generally (we'll exclude Kaka from this ?) keep it civil.
The poras on the other hand, generally don't keep it civil, which can be so disappointing for me as a supporter as we give away terrible shots at times. I was quite surprised to see none of that during this game but won't hold my breath for the same level of sportmanship against Brazil. (I suspect they'll be quite aggressive and it could very well lose them the game).
And while I'm ranting, I cannot stand the mindset that Brazil should lose "because they always win". That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you work hard for something and do it better than everyone else, you should win. It's like people who hate rich people because they're rich - they usually don't see the years of pain, blood, sweat and tears that came before the riches. Of course, that's not to say that I think that arrogant, spoiled brats deserve respect because they worked for it. I don't. I think arrogant people, rich or not, skilled or not, are the scum of the earth. Which is why I sometimes struggle to watch soccer. Brilliant or not, some players can be real asses.
I hope Portugal win on Friday but if Brazil win, then I'm sure they will have deserved it and will have played amazing football to win! So here's looking forward to an amazing game, either way.

Portugal ROCKS! ?
MIKA-the-better-one
I really wouldnt call portugals, win over North Korea amaizng, Korea are not really the best team out there, AND they do come from a fairly isolated country, they are a super cool team just for sticking through it, they did good against Brazil, and I found them to be one of my more favourite teams.
Its a shame people rejoice in whoopings

... to me, it's England!!!! ... and even better if it's by a penalty shoot-out ? *ducks*

Considering Korea's excellent game against Brazil and Portugals terrible game against Ivory Coast, today's game was actually good. Up until about the 3rd goal. After that, Korea gave up and the lashing began but, before that, they really made the Poras work for it.

I am the moer in with Spain for their attitude in last night's game... >☹

Sean, I'm with you. Would definitely not want England to win at all. They're such sore losers and such cocky winners. It takes the fun out of the game completely.

+1
and not Portugal (Ronaldo.... need I say more)
and not Spain (I don't see how they started as tournament favorites, at least now I know I was right)
My head is with Argentina and Brazil (They are too good)
Netherlands are a brilliant side too (My wild card)
My heart is sadly Italian... :'(
No comments please... ?
